New Year

Well, it's a new year (actually a couple months into but hey) and I didn't reach my goal of 52 post for last year. I did however post more last year than I did the year before. With real life comes challenges and struggles and 2023 was no exception. I faced burnout on many fronts and often times questioned my sanity.

Work was crazy with projects, deadlines, and long hours. There were day's that it felt like I would just leave work and was turning around and going back. Even three-day weekends didn't feel long enough.

On top of work, keeping up with my schoolwork was stressful. It seemed like no sooner did I turn in an assignment another one was due. While I did have a summer break between spring and fall. It was still a lot to manage.

All of this on top of trying to be good father and husband.

Don't get me wrong I wouldn't trade anything for the opportunities that I have but it does take away from having fun and tinkering. So, with all that said I am going to try and post something at least monthly, and we will see what happens. I have a lot of great ideas to blog about. Some that people will love and some that people will hate but hey this is my blog.
